Elizabeth Stark
Elizabeth Stark is an American entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and CEO of Lightning Labs, the company responsible for the development of the Lightning Network.[1] Background[edit]Elizabeth Stark was formerly a researcher at the Harvard Berkman Center for Internet & Society. She also previously taught as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Stanford StartX and as a visiting fellow at Yale’s Information Society Project.[2][3] She has taught courses on peer-to-peer technology, digital privacy, open-source software, and Internet memes.[4] She is currently a Fellow at the digital currency policy organisation Coin Center.[5] In March 2018, the public beta Lightning Network was released. Stark said the beta would be available "first to advanced users and developers and then broader users."[6][7] Education[edit]Elizabeth Stark holds a Joint Degree from Harvard.[8] References[edit]
