The European Association of Central Counterparty Clearing Houses (EACH) was formed by European central counterparty clearing houses in 1991.
The association's participants are senior executives that specialize in clearing and risk management from European CCPs, both EU an non-EU. EACH has an interest in ensuring that discussions on clearing and settlement are fully informed by the expertise and opinions of those responsible for providing central counterparty clearing services.[1]

The European Code of Conduct for Clearing and Settlement was signed on Nov. 7, 2006. It contains three main deliverables: price transparency by the end of December 2006, the delivery of access and interoperability guidelines by end June 2007 and unbundling and accounting segregation of some services for delivery by the end of 2007.[3]
