The Financial Times (FT) is a London-based business news organization. It was previously owned by Pearson PLC, but was acquired by Japan’s Nikkei Inc. for $1.2 billion in 2015.[1] The FT's news content is published in a printed broadsheet newspaper format and digitally at FT.com. The newspaper version is printed on unique salmon colored paper.
The FT employs more than 600 journalists worldwide. The print version has a daily circulation of 287,895 and FT.com has over 5 million registered users, including 312,000 paid subscribers. Combined daily print and digital redaership is estimated at 2.1 million.[2]
