Guy Taylor is head of media relations for the Americas at BNP Paribas. He started in that role in April 2018.
Before joining BNP Paribas, he served as global director of public relations at Paragon Public Relations. He joined the company in that role in October 2017.
Taylor began his career in communications after spending seven years in Washington, DC, first as a staff aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, Office of the Majority Leader, and then as a press aide at the White House. He worked as an account executive for Golin/Harris Communications, and then for nearly two years as the director of media relations for UNICEF before joining NYBOT in 2001.
He accepted the ICAP position, after spending six years as the director of public relations for the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) from January 2001 to May 2007. He left that exchange shortly after its acquisition by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in 2007.
Taylor earned a BA in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College in 1990. He also holds two graduate degrees - an MA in Political Science/Congressional Studies from Catholic University (1993) and an MBA from Fordham University (2009).
