Henk Huitema is a veteran financial markets professional with several decades of experience dealing with cash and derivatives exchanges globally. He is currently a senior vice president with Stellar Trading Systems in Singapore.


Previously, he was a senior vice president at Eurex and head of office in their Singapore branch. He departed Eurex in May 2016.[1]

Background[edit]

Huitema is the former managing director of the Asia Pacific office for RTS Realtime Systems. He joined RTS in September 1999 in the headquarters in Frankfurt and moved to Sydney in October 2001. In that role, he was responsible for the day-to-day business activities in the Asia Pacific area.[2]

Previously, Huitema was deputy general manager of Fimat, a risk manager with HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt and deputy head of the compliance department at Euronext LIFFE.

In 1995, Huitema earned a BBA in Business Administration from Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, Netherlands.
