iShares Copper Trust is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) backed by physical copper. BlackRock, which owns iShares, won approval from the SEC to offer the fund in February 2013. The Trust is listed on NYSE Arca.

The product attracted some controversy, as some industrial users opposed plans for copper ETFs, saying they might drive up copper prices by leaving less of the metal available for manufacturers.[1]
