James H. Sinclair
James H. Sinclair is co-founder and CEO of MarketFactory, a financial technology company that feed handlers to the forex market through its FX Aggregator product, a single API that connects to all sources of liquidity in the foreign exchange market, including ECNs, banks, brokers and futures exchanges. [1] Background[edit]Before co-founding MarketFactory in 2007, Sinclair was head of research and strategy for ICAP Electronic Broking, where he was involved with strategy and corporate development for the foreign exchange and fixed income markets. Prior to the 2006 acquisition of EBS by ICAP, he held a number of executive positions at EBS, including head of Asia/Pacific (where he launched the business in the region and implemented its merger with MINEX), head of sales for the Americas, global head of product management, and head of research and strategy. Prior to EBS, from 1985 to 1997, Sinclair held several positions at Citibank, including business manager of Asia/Pacific, and vice president in Tokyo and Hong Kong.[2] Education[edit]Sinclair earned a BSc. in Engineering Honors and ACGI from the University of London, Imperial College.
