Jamila Piracci is a senior director at Patomak Global Partners, a financial services consultancy. She is responsible for providing Patomak clients with regulatory strategy and compliance solutions, drawing from nearly two decades of experience as a derivatives and regulatory professional. [1]

Prior to joining Patomak, Piracci led the National Futures Association's regulatory program that oversees swap dealers under the Dodd-Frank Act, a position she held from 2011-2019.

She was the vice president of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives at the National Futures Association (NFA), a position created to oversee the regulation of swap dealers (SDs) and major swap participants (MSPs). She was hired in July 2011.[2] [3]

She is an expert in credit, equity, energy, commodity, interest rate, foreign exchange and currency derivative transactional work as well as template development and technical advice; structured credit products; and structured note programs.

Piracci previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Piracci was the assistant general counsel at the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) from July 2005 to December 2006.[4] She also worked at Mayer Brown LLP as an associate.

Piracci received her B.S. from Harvard-Radcliffe College at Harvard University. She received her MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and her JD from Cornell Law School. Piracci has written a number of articles and has spoken frequently on issues pertaining to OTC derivatives.
