As head of product management, he leads the implementation of TT’s various lines of business for the trading platform, infrastructure and data. He also spearheads the strategy for new product development and integration. He previously served as Line of Business manager for execution services and led a group within TT's in-house trading entity focused on algorithmic commodity trading. He has been with Trading Technologies for nearly six and a half years. From 2009 to 2015, he worked as a proprietary futures trader for TT, before joining the company’s product development arm. Background Before joining TT, he spent almost six years at TradeCo Trading. Earlier, he was a professional consultant to Trading Technologies from Oct. 2007 to July 2009. He began his career as a software engineer for Harris Communications in 2006. Education Shaffer graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in computer science and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. References
