Jay Caauwe
Jay Caauwe is a Chicago-based derivatives and exchange professional who is the co-founder and a managing partner at Supercritical, LLC. Previously he was managing director of business development at CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE), focuses primarily on the exchange's roster of volatility products based on the VIX Index.[1] He joined CFE in 2004 as a senior business analyst to advance and promote the CFE to sell-side and buy-side customers. Background[edit]Before joining CFE, Caauwe had a 17-year career as a floor trader, acting as either an independent trader or lead broker for some of the industry's leading proprietary trading firms. Education[edit]Caauwe studied Philosophy and Criminology at Moraine Valley College.
