John Bilson
John Bilson is a professor of finance at the Illinois Institute of Technology, now called Illinois Tech. He teaches and is the dean of the Stuart School of Business at Illinois Tech.[1] He is the John and Mae Calamos Stuart School of Business Dean Endowed Chair Professor of Finance. Background[edit]Outside of this academic career, which began at Northwestern University, Bilson was a senior vice president at The Chicago Corporation. He has held research, teaching, visiting and administrative positions at the University of Melbourne, International Monetary Fund, University of Chicago, the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, and the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace. Education[edit]Bilson earned a B.Ec in the field of study of economics with honors from Monash University. He also earned a M.Ec. in economics from Monash.
