The Joint Audit Committee (JAC) is a representative committee of U.S. futures exchanges and regulatory organizations that oversees the implementation of the Joint Audit Agreement and determines practices and procedures for regulatory examinations and financial reviews in the futures industry. Established to enhance uniformity among participants and reduce regulatory burden, the JAC plays a crucial role in the financial surveillance of futures commission merchants (FCMs).
