Jonathan D. Gray is Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Real Estate for Blackstone Group. He is also a member of Blackstone's Management and Executive Committees[1].

Background[edit]

Since joining Blackstone in 1992, Jonathan Gray has led the privatization of eleven public real estate companies valued at more than $100 billion including Extended Stay America, Carr America, Equity Office Properties and Hilton Hotels. He previously worked in the Advisory Group and the Private Equity Group at Blackstone Group.

He currently serves as a board member of the Pension Real Estate Association, NAREIT, Harlem Village Academies and Trinity School.

Education[edit]

Mr. Gray received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, as well as a BA in English from the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
