Jonathan Ferreira
Jonathan Ferreira is vice president, head of sales, North Asia/Australia & New Zealand at Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT) a position he assumed in 2023. In this role, he is responsible for identifying growth opportunities by understanding clients' needs and providing tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency.[1] Background[edit]Australian Securities Exchange[edit]Ferreira began his career in market operations at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). In this role, he worked across trading, clearing, and settlement operations, supporting market structure processes and operational execution for cash equity and listed derivative markets.[2] During his tenure at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), Asia-Pacific derivatives markets experienced increased adoption of electronic trading and centralized post-trade processing. Ferreira's operational work at the exchange provided exposure to clearing house rules, member connectivity, and market infrastructure, establishing his technical foundation in exchange operations and post-trade workflows.[3] Trading Technologies[edit]Ferreira joined software provider Trading Technologies in Sydney, serving initially as Asia-Pacific director of customer success and later advancing to vice president and senior vice president, head of sales for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In these roles, he directed commercial operations, client management, and business development across regional financial centers including Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, and Hong Kong.[4] At Trading Technologies, Ferreira led expansion initiatives across regional exchange infrastructure, including establishing direct colocation services at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX). As institutional investors, banks, and proprietary trading firms expanded multi-asset trading across futures, options, and foreign exchange markets, he managed the deployment of algorithmic execution tools, pre-trade portfolio risk controls, and trade surveillance applications.[5] Education[edit]Ferreira received a diploma in e-Business from Spherion.[6] References[edit]
