Joseph Lewis
Joseph Lewis is a New York-based financial services professional who serves as the co-head of corporate hedging and FX solutions for Jefferies. [1] Lewis is a member of the board of directors of the OCC, a position he assumed in 2023.[2] At OCC's Annual Stockholder meeting on April 28, 2023, Lewis was unanimously elected a Class I Member Director for a term ending 2026.[3] He is also a board member of Teaching Matters, Bronx Excellence Charter Schools and New Federal Theater.[4] Background[edit]Before joining Jefferies, Lewis held senior positions at Citibank, Barclays and Lehman Brothers focused on interest rate, commodity and foreign exchange derivatives. At Citibank, Lewis served as director of corporate derivatives. At Barclays, he was a director in the investment banking division for corporate derivatives. And, at Lehman Brothers, he served as a vice president. Lewis has served as a adjunct professor at St. Francis College. He was also a co-founder and board member of Pallus, an online tool with onsite supplementary services that assist high schools in providing comprehensive academic and college counseling to their students via its higher education outreach platform.
