Joshua F. Inglis is the founder and CEO of Propllr LLC, a communications consult focused on financial services and technology.[1] He was previously the director, head of marketing at AlphaMetrix, LLC.[2]

History[edit]

Before joining AlphaMetrix, Inglis was a senior director at Vivid Ascent. Before that, he was vice president with Strategics, Inc., where he was responsible for the development, execution and supervision of media relations and marketing communications programs. Inglis also worked at Strategics as vice president from 1994 to 1997.

Before that, Inglis was vice president for a Chicago-based public relations agency, with particular concentration in the securities and technology industries, including online brokerage, investor education, money management, exchange-traded funds and data management.[3]

Also, Inglis was vice president of marketing for a rapid application development firm and as public relations manager for Commerx, a pioneer in business-to-business marketplaces. He also was a vice president and director in the marketing communications and public relations unit of BSMG/FRB (now Weber Shandwick).

Before becoming a public relations professional, Inglis was an arbitrage clerk for a proprietary trading firm in the futures, futures options and equity options markets.

Inglis was named a Top Tech Communicator in 2007 by PRSourceCode, and is a recipient of the Gold Bulldog Award for media relations and publicity excellence for work on behalf of online broker optionsXpress.[4]

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
