Kaitlin Meyer is a Chicago-based American business executive currently serving as the chief commercial officer (CCO) of MIAX Futures, a division of the MIAX Exchange Group. She has extensive experience in marketing, sales, and strategic roles within the financial services industry.

Background[edit]

Meyer began her career as a research assistant for Altair Advisers. She joined the CME Group in 2014 as a manager of OTC products, responsible for working with both buy-side and sell-side firms to comply with the Dodd-Frank mandate for OTC Clearing of interest rate and credit default swap products.

In 2015, she was promoted to director of client development and sales for retail, working with key retail brokerage firms with the goal of increasing the number of active traders using futures and options on futures. In 2018, she was promoted to director, head of marketing and sales enablement, leading CME's global content distribution and strategy efforts to drive new client acquisition.

Cboe Global Markets[edit]

In 2021, she moved to Cboe Global Markets as director of retail derivatives sales and coverage. She helped drive Cboe's retail strategy for proprietary products by maintaining and establishing relationships across brokerage firms and increasing the awareness of the tradable products.

MIAX Exchange Group[edit]

In March of 2022, Meyer joined MIAX Exchange Group as vice president of marketing and sales, where she was responsible for overseeing the marketing strategies and sales operations of the company.[1][2][3]

MIAX Futures[edit]

As the chief commercial officer of MIAX Futures, Meyer leads in the development and execution of commercial strategies for the futures division. Her responsibilities include expanding the market presence of MIAX Futures, enhancing client relationships, and driving the adoption of new trading products and services.

Education[edit]

Meyer graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in economics, receiving General Honors. She was actively involved as the captain of the Women's Varsity Soccer Team, a member of the WAA Executive Board, and a tutor at Calvert House. She also holds an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, concentrating in entrepreneurship and finance.
