Keith Petersen is the chief strategy officer for Barchart. He was promoted to that position on January 12, 2021, having previously been Barchart's head of strategy and corporate development. In his role as chief strategy officer, Petersen oversees commercial enablement, business development, data science, and product strategy for Barchart.[1]
Petersen joined Barchart in 2016 as head of strategy.
He reports to Barchart's CEO, Mark Haraburda.[2]

Before joining Barchart, Petersen worked at the CME Group, where he focused on business development for Equity Index and FX products. He has also worked at IMC Financial Markets and Bank of America.

Petersen has a Bachelor of Finance from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
