Ken Pigaga is the CEO of NEX Optimisaton, a division of NEX Group, and a director on the board of NEX. He took over the role in October 2017 after Jenny Knott stepped down from the CEO role that month.

Prior to that, he served as the global group chief operating officer of ICAP plc, now NEX Group, since November 26, 2013.[1]

Background[edit]

Ken Pigaga joined ICAP in 2006 as COO for the Americas. He led a multi-disciplined team responsible for the development of ICAP’s SEF, which went live on October 2, 2013. Before joining ICAP, Pigaga was a managing director at JP Morgan in the investment banking division, focused on e-commerce activities.

From 1991 to 2001 he was at Goldman Sachs where he held several roles in emerging markets trading, portfolio structuring and e-commerce. Pigaga started his career in 1982 at Salomon Brothers.[2]

Education[edit]

Pigaga has a joint MS-MBA degree from Columbia University.[3]
