Kenny Conklin
Kenny Conklin is a Kansas City, MO based financial services professional. He serves as senior vice president for business development and marketing for BATS Global Markets. Background[edit]Conklin started his career as a associate client manager and financial analyst for Bank of America. He later returned to school at the University of Kansas for a masters of science degree in computer science, where he served as a graduate teaching assistant. He also served as a graduate teaching coordinator. In 2002, he founded and was president of Runlight, Inc., a technology and consulting firm. In 2003, he started at Cerner Corporation as a software engineer, something he also did for Cyntergy Technology in 2004-05. In July of 2005, he became a software engineer for Tradebot Systems, a proprietary trading firm which spawned Bats Trading. Education[edit]Conklin is a 1996 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelors of science degree in economics and business.
