Khalid Abdullah Al Hussan has been the chief executive officer at the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) since March 21, 2016. He is also a board member. He served as an acting CEO at Tadawul from November 12, 2015 to March 21, 2016.[1]

Preceding his appointment as CEO of the Group, he was the CEO of The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), now known as the Saudi Exchange, for more than 5 years.

He also serves as the chairman of the Saudi Exchange, the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa), the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), Wamid, an applied technology services business, and the innovation arm of Saudi Tadawul Group. Al Hussan is also a board member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and Tadawul Real Estate Company.[2]

Background[edit]

Hussan led several functions within the Saudi Stock Exchange including trading, post trade, strategy, market information and operations.

Before joining the exchange, he worked in the insurance sector, managing areas of business product development and strategy.

Education[edit]

Khalid is an engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado.[3]
