Kim Rosenkilde joined ICAP on September 23, 2008. Starting on January 1, 2009, he will take on the role of chief executive officer of ICAP's Asia Pacific division, based in Singapore. Rosenkilde will report to group CEO Michael Spencer and will be responsible for all voice broking and support management in the region.

Rosenkilde will take over from George Macdonald, who decided to retire from ICAP at the end of 2008 after 13 years of service, including eight as CEO of ICAP London, Europe and Asia-Pacific.[1]

Background[edit]

Before joining ICAP, Rosenkilde held a number of positions at ABN AMRO, most recently as CEO and Country Executive Japan and Head of Global Markets, North America. He has 23 years of experience in fixed income and currency trading and risk management.

Education[edit]

Born in Denmark, Rosenkilde was educated in Copenhagen, and at London Business School and Harvard Business School.
