Mendelsohn's stated objective with is to provide a central resource for traders to learn about the markets from other traders, free of charge. On Nov, 5, 2009, he was recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as an honoree for the 2009 Up & Comers Award.[2]

In response to the recent growth of the Web site despite the international economic downturn, Lane stated in a Nov. 17, 2008 interview with the St. Petersburg Times that "now more than ever (users) need to become educated."[3]
