Laura Yunger is president of Cheevers & Company, Inc. She was named to the position in July of 2010.

Background[edit]

Prior to Cheevers & Company, Yunger held executive positions at Wachovia Corporation.[1] As vice president of enterprise planning she oversaw profitability reporting programs for subsidiary brokerage, Wachovia Securities, and also served as head of wealth marketing strategy for Evergreen Investments, Wachovia’s investment management division. There she developed competitive selling strategies for the firm’s suite of high-net-worth investment products, which included customized equity & fixed income portfolios, separately managed accounts and alternative strategies. [2] Yunger also spent some time at Bank of America in their Consulting Services Group, where she played an integral role in the launch and success of their fee-based brokerage & managed wrap account programs. [3]

Yunger is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals’ Chicago & Baltimore/Washington chapters, the Mid-Atlantic Security Traders Association, and the Security Traders Association of Chicago.
