Lauri Rosendahl is an exchange executive who serves as the president of Nasdaq Stockholm and head of European Equities and Post Trade. He also serves as vice president, responsible for Nordic equities and derivatives markets in Nasdaq OMX's Transactions Services Nordic business. [1][2] Finland born, but now based in Stockholm, Rosendahl oversees the operations of Nasdaq’s seven exchanges in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.[3]
Background[edit]
He joined Nasdaq in 2009 as president of Nasdaq Helsinki, responsible for product management for Nordic equities. After seven years in Finland, he was appointed president of Nasdaq Stockholm and Nasdaq Nordic in 2016.[4][5][6]
Before Nasdaq OMX, Rosendahl was CEO and country manager for Kaupthing Finnish Branch.
He has also worked for a number of different investment banks including Deutsche Bank, ABN AMBRO, and Carnegie as an equity analyst, head of research, and head of investment banking.
