Lucas Schmeddes is president of Intercontinental Exchange Group Inc.'s ICE Futures Singapore and ICE Clear Singapore. He was previously COO of ICE Endex, ICE's Dutch gas and power derivatives business.[1]


Before his role as COO of ICE Endex in 2013, Schmeddes was CFO of APX-ENDEX from November 2008 to March 2013. He began at APX Group in 2004 as group manager of finance, prior to APX Group's acquisition of ENDEX. Schmeddes was also a consultant, business controller and manager of business control for TNT N.V. from 1998 to 2004.[2]


Schmeddes graduated from Tilburg University with an MA in econometrics and earned an MBA from INSEAD.[3]
