Maria Chiodi
Maria Chiodi is a New York-based lawyer who serves as a managing director and general counsel of Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC. She co-heads the global markets legal initiatives and regulatory reform group at Credit Suisse.[1] She serves on the board of the National Futures Association as a representative of large futures commission merchants. She is also a member of the CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee. Also, she serves on the board of directors of the OCC as a member director. She serves on the OCC governance and nominating committee. Background[edit]Prior to her current role, she was head of the cleared derivatives team at Credit Suisse. She is an active member of the Futures Industry Association Law & Compliance Division. Additionally, she is a member of the futures & derivatives regulation committee of the New York City Bar Association. Before coming to Credit Suisse, she was with Societe Generale and Nomura Securities International, Inc. Education[edit]Chiodi has a BS from New York University.
