Mark Ibbotson
Mark Ibbotson is the non-executive chairman of G.H. Financials. He previously served as GH Financials' CEO from October 2013 to February 2018, and was succeeded by Mark Phelps.[1] Ibbotson was appointed non-executive chairman of G. H. Financials effective April 2, 2018, succeeding Duncan Paterson. He was previously co-CEO of NYSE Liffe, sharing the position with Finbarr Hutcheson. He departed in August 2013.[2] [3] Hutcheson and Ibbotson were named to the position on July 9, 2012, replacing Garry Jones, who resigned as CEO of Liffe in June 2012.[4] As co-CEO of Liffe, Ibbotson was responsible for exchange trading, clearing and regulation. He was also global head of clearing at NYSE Euronext. Background[edit]Ibbotson worked for Liffe for 23 years, in such roles as market secretariat, director of regulatory development and chief operating officer, before being named co-CEO in July 2012.[5] Education[edit]Ibbotson has a law degree from the University of Nottingham and an MBA from Bradford University.
