MarketsWiki Education World of Opportunity is a brand of John Lothian News for events, special reports and articles about opportunities in the global financial markets. The events have included tips for companies growing their business globally as well as a series aimed at interns in the financial markets.

Events[edit]

The inaugural MarketsWiki World of Opportunity Event was held on Oct. 27, 2010 at the CME Group Auditorium. Experts and leading exchange representatives shared their personal experiences in accessing international markets. View the videos below to hear the unexpected challenges they were faced with, how they managed cultural differences and what technology is required to support international expansion goals.

In the July of 2013, John Lothian News held five events in Chicago in a Summer Intern Education Series. Interns from firms across the financial markets attended these TED Talk like programs featuring notable executives from the industry, including Leo Melamed, Richard Sandor, Terry Duffy, Bill Brodsky and Rick Lane.

In 2014, JLN transitioned the World of Opportunity slogan to its newly relaunched MarketsWiki Education brand.
