Matt Trudeau
Matt Trudeau is the chief operating officer at ErisX. He joined the company in the role of chief strategy officer in December of 2018 and was named chief product & strategy officer in January of 2020.[1][2][3] He is a mentor with Techstars, working with entrepreneurs. He is also an advisor to APPLICA.AI, which applies neural language modeling to real business problems. Trudeau is also an advisor and investor with NPX Inc., which addresses the way impact is finance in the non-profit sector. Background[edit]Trudeau is the principal and owner of 10X Markets, a strategic advisory firm for start up businesses focused on electronic trading, fintech, capital markets and cryptocurrencies. He was the president and co-founder of TradeWind Markets, Inc., which was a technology platform for digitizing the trading, settlement and ownership of precious metals.[4][5] He was an advisor to Hexagram, a digital advertising exchange from 2014 to 2015, as well as senior director of strategic partnerships for AppNexus. Trudeau served as head of product and IEX Ventures for IEX Group.[6] Trudeau served as global head of product at Chi-X Global from 2009 to 2011. He also served as COO of Chi-X Canada, which was later acquired by Nasdaq. Trudeau started his trading career in the early 2000s and has overseen 10 global market launches including Instinet, Chi-X, IEX and most recently Tradewind.[7] Video[edit]In 2016, Trudeau was featured in a video by IEX explaining high frequency trading and IEX's goal.
