The late Matt Zachowski was the cofounder and senior consultant at Lansons Intermarket (formerly Intermarket Communications). He died in September 2021 at age 68 following a long-term illness.[1]

Zachowski was previously managing partner and executive chairman at Intermarket Communications.[2] He was with the company since its founding in 1986.

Throughout his career, Zachowski served as a strategic advisor on communications issues to numerous market-leading companies offering trading products and services. Companies that he has advised over the years include Citibank, the New York Stock Exchange, SWIFT, The New York Mercantile Exchange, D.E. Shaw, and Thomson Financial.

Background[edit]

Before the founding of Intermarket Communications, Zachowski served for six years as vice president of marketing for COMEX, where he helped to successfully launch options on futures contracts, as well as establishing a number of financial services marketing programs.

Before his time at COMEX, he was a precious metals analyst for E.F. Hutton & Co., which is now a part of Smith Barney.
