Matthias Graulich is a Frankfurt, Germany-area based executive who is global head of fixed income, funding & financing strategy and development of Deutsche Börse AG and a member of the executive board of Eurex Clearing. He took over the Deutsche Börse role in September of 2018 and has been a Eurex Clearing executive board member since 2014.[1]
Within Deutsche Börse Group he is responsible for strategy, business and product development for listed and OTC derivatives as well as repo and securities lending across trading and clearing.
He is also a Board member of the British Chamber of Commerce e.V. and a member of the CFTC's Market Risk Advisory Committee.
Background[edit]
From March 2016 until August 2018 he was in charge of cross market strategy for Eurex Clearing and Clearstream. From April 2013 until February 2016 he was chief client officer and global head of clients & markets, a client-facing organizational unit of Eurex Clearing. Before that he was head of clearing initiatives for the implementation of Eurex Clearing’s strategic project portfolio and regulatory affairs.
Since joining the Deutsche Börse Group in 2001, he has held a number of leadership and project management positions at Deutsche Boerse AG, and Eurex for various strategic projects, amongst others, the introduction of EurexOTC Clear as well as the merger and integration of the International Securities Exchange.[2][3][4]

Graulich holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in North Carolina.
