Michael Babel
Michael Babel is a managing director for the U.S. options business for InternContinental Exchange. Babel has represented NYSE AMEX at various industry events and committees such as the Options Linkage Authority, OIC, Options Symbology and SOSA. He has also worked with the SIFMA Options Committee for options related matters.[1] Background[edit]Previously, Babel served as vice president of business planning for the options business of the American Stock Exchange before its acquisition by NYSE Euronext. He also served as managing director for options marketing for AMEX from 2002 to 2006. He was also manager ETF marketing & research at AMEX from 1998 to 2002. Prior to joining AMEX in 1998, Babel was at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter where he held Series 3, Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 licenses.
