Michael Kraines
Michael Kraines is the former president and chief financial officer of Trading Technologies International, Inc.[1] He left the company in February 2021 to pursue a new opportunity.[2] As CFO, Kraines focused on the company’s strategy, financial and operational growth model, and financial strength. As president, he oversaw TT's global sales and customer success organizations and directs business development and commercial partnerships. He also had day-to-day operational responsibilities for TT's functional departments. He previously served as chief commercial officer at TT. On July 19, 2018, YCharts, an investment research platform, announced it had appointed Kraines to its board of directors.[3] Background[edit]Before joining TT, Kraines spent 25 years as an investment banker in the financial technology sector. He joined TT from Sandler O’Neill + Partners, where he was a managing director and led the financial technology effort and advised on transactions in the market structure sector beginning in 2004. Previously he was a managing director in the financial institutions group with Wasserstein Perella & Co., starting in 1992, and prior to that he practiced as a venture capital attorney with Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
