Michael T. Seigne is a former Goldman, Sachs financial advisor with more than 20 years of experience.[1] He was hired by KCG in the second quarter of 2016 to help develop its European business among bank and investment firm customers. He oversees sales for exchange-traded funds, program trading and electronic trading in equities at KCG in London. The move reunites him with Rob Crane, his colleague of 12 years at Goldman Sachs, who has been KCG’s head of European execution services since the summer of 2015.[2]

Seigne is registered with FINRA as a broker.

Background[edit]

Seigne joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 as a foreign exchange trader in Hong Kong before moving to the equities division in 1996. He worked in Hong Kong and Australia as an equities sales trader until 2002 and was named managing director in 2007. Before joining the firm, Seigne was a civil engineer in Hong Kong.[3]

Education[edit]

He was educated in Ireland and England and earned a BA in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin.
