BLD data include total cases, annual trends, whether a case is criminal or civil, whether the case involves the SEC or CFTC, and the ability to search terms.[9] In June 2021, the firm announced the election of Elizabeth Lan Davis as its chair and president. Davis succeeded firm co-founder James Murphy, who served in those roles since the firm began in 2010. Davis' election was conducted by a shareholder vote on June 25.
