The Netherlands Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) is the central bank of the Netherlands and is responsible for safeguarding financial stability.
The Bank has two administrative forms: as part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) and as an independent administrative body (ZBO).
- As part of the ESCB the DNB has responsibility for identifying and implementing monetary policy in the countries that have adopted the euro.
