Nicole M. Kuchera
Nicole M. Kuchera is a corporate attorney in the investment services group at Vedder Price. She joined the law firm after spending nearly eight years at Henderson & Lyman's Financial Services Practice Group in Chicago.
She concentrates her practice on compliance, regulation and other legal matters involving commodity pool operators (CPOs), commodity trading advisors (CTAs), hedge funds, futures commission merchants (FCMs) and other derivatives professionals.
She also represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of litigation matters, and represents various clients in general corporate matters, such as business formation and licensing and industry registration.
Kuchera was an associate at Henderson & Lyman from 2006-2014. Before that, she was a program assistant at Illinois Institute of Technology Undergraduate Business School and Knapp Entrepreneurship Center, from 2003-2005. From 2003-2005 she worked as a law clerk at Bier & Gutstein.
She has co-authored articles published in SeekingAlpha.com, Forex Journal, FXStreet.com and other publications.
Kuchera earned an L.L.M. in Financial Services Law from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, 2006; a J.D., Chicago-Kent College of Law, Chicago, Illinois, 2006; and a B.S., DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois, 2002 (Honors Finance and Honors Economics).
