Patrice Blanc is the CEO of Jefferies Bache LLC and president of its futures brokerage division. He joined Jefferies & Company, Inc. in October 2010 as the head of the futures division. [1] He is also a board member of the Futures Industry Association.[2]


Blanc was previously CEO of Newedge, the brokerage joint venture formed in 2007 between Calyon Financial and Société Générale's Fimat unit.[3] He joined Fimat in 1989 as front office manager of the Parisian desk and became deputy general manager in 1991. In 1994, he established a Fimat office in Brazil and was appointed general manager of that office in 1995. In 1997, he joined Fimat USA as general manager, based in New York. In 2000 he was named chairman and president and in 2002 he was appointed head of Fimat Group.[4]


Blanc is a graduate of the Ecole Superieure de Commerce Exterieur.
