Peter Lovell
Peter Lovell is a futures industry professional who established an independent educational consultancy, Wolf Stone Limited, in 2015. His work there has included: mentoring and training executives; advising on strategy, corporate governance and regulatory risk; troubleshooting for businesses; working with early-stage start-ups in need of business and strategic planning; and developing technology used in the financial services industry. Before he joined Wolf Stone Ltd, he was chairman and CEO of G.H. Financials (Hong Kong) Limited.[1] Background[edit]Lovell joined G.H. Financials in 2002 and joined the company's board of directors in 2005. He was appointed CEO in 2011.[2] He moved to Hong Kong in 2013 to establish an Asian subsidiary.[3][4] His career began in 1984 on the floor of the London Financial Futures Exchange, ("LIFFE"). He worked for the firm Laurie Milbank, which was acquired by Chase Bank in 1986. He joined ICS, a division of Pierson Heldring and Pierson, in 1990. He rose through management positions at Chase Manhattan and GNI, where he worked from 1994 to 2002.[5] Education[edit]A chartered director and fellow of both the Institute of Directors and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, Lovell holds a Bachelors Degree, with Honours, in Business Studies from the Open University.
