Peter T. Golder is a financial services executive who joined the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in the newly created position of head of Group Digital Assets in June 2022.[1]

Background[edit]

For the two years before joining LSEG, Golder was chief commercial officer at the SIX Digital Exchange (SDX). SDX is the first major stock exchange to launch a digital assets platform supporting securities.[2]

Golder has spent over two decades in financial services. He began his career with Bolero/SWIFT as head of strategy and consulting. In 2003, he founded Addaura, an independent strategy and corporate advisory boutique focused on working with organizations to identify and execute on transformational business ideas.[3] In 2006, he served as the CEO of Dar Al Istithmar, Deutsche Bank's Islamic structuring and advisory boutique. He moved in 2008 to Booz & Company as a financial services principal. In 2013, he became managing director with Prosdocimi Limited, an FCA-authorized and regulated full-service, private brokerage and merchant bank. In 2020, he moved to SDX.

Golder also serves in a number of advisory roles. He is a venture capital and private equity advisor to Antler Venture Capital, a global platform for startups, and he serves as a board advisor to APEX:3-E, a data, analytics and algorithmic trading platform that covers global crypto and digital asset markets.[4]

Education[edit]

Dr. Golder holds an MSC in Finance and Economics, and an MSC [Insigni Cum Laude] in European Law and Politics from the University of Basel. His PhD, in Strategy and International Business, is from Bayes Business School, City University of London, formerly known as Cass Business School.

He has completed advanced studies in Negotiation from Said Business School, University of Oxford, 2017; Valuation from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, 2018; and Competing on Business Analytics and Big Data from Harvard Business School, 2018.[5]
