Background Prior to joining Abaxx, Bhatnagar spent seven years as the senior manager for clearing and settlement, securities services with Standard Chartered Bank, where he was responsible for custody/securities services covering 27 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. From 2006 through 2012, Bhatnagar served as vice president, clearing and settlement infrastructure for the Singapore Exchange. He then served as vice president, head of clearing & settlement for the Singapore Mercantile Exchange, prior to its acquisition by ICE. Bhatnagar began his career in 1995, managing operations and technology development for the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
