Randy Williams
Randy Williams is a public relations and corporate communications professional. Most recently he was vice president, global communications BATS Global Markets. [1] Background[edit]Williams spent 13 years as a journalist, including the first 11 years at Dow Jones News Service. He served as assistant managing editor in charge of the spot news desk from 1999 to 2004.[2] Before joining BATS, Williams was a vice president with Fleishman-Hillard in Kansas City, where he established the financial practice at the fourth-largest office in the global public relations firm’s 85-office network. He also worked with New York-based public and investor relations firm Starkman & Associates as senior managing director. The National Stock Exchange is among the firms Williams has counseled. Education[edit]Williams holds a degree in journalism from Lehigh University and also attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
