Rashed Al Baloushi, also spelled Alblooshi, is the CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, or ADX, in the United Emirates. He has been in the position since 2012.[1][2]
He is also a member of the the Arab Federation of Exchanges Executive Committee.[3]
Background[edit]
Before becoming the CEO of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, he served as the director of clearance, settlement of the depository department. He was named the deputy CEO of ADX in 2007.
He served as the head of registrar and depository at the Abu Dhabi Free Zone Authority from October 1997 to April 2000.
Education[edit]
Al Baloushi holds a masters of business administration from the UAE University majoring in Leadership, while he received his BSc Computer Information Systems from Benedict College, Columbia, South Carolina.
