Robert B. Moore
In 2024, Moore was inducted into the Futures Industry Association's FIA Hall of Fame, which was established in 2005 to commemorate outstanding contributions to the global futures and options community.
Moore began his futures career in the CBOT Bond pit in 1980 and became a member in 1981. He has served on numerous industry boards and committees, including the CBOT Executive Committee on Competitive Stance and Ethics Committees. He also served on the CBOT Business Conduct Committee.
From 1976 to 1980, Moore worked as a stockbroker for Paine Weber. Before moving into financial services, he taught business at Benilde St. Margaret High School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Moore has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Marquette University and pursued a Master's Degree in economics at Mankato State University.
