Background[edit]

Russell started his trading career with Goldenberg Hehmeyer, where he worked for 10 years, becoming a senior trader and part of the market making team. He was the founder and CEO of Precision Financial Markets, which was bought by Sanlam Private Investments, which he then joined as head of derivatives.[1]

He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA Hons. in Business Studies.
