Background

Banus joined the Dubai Mercantile Exchange in March of 2012.

He began his career in a London sales role at BarCap in 1994 and moved to Singapore a decade later, where he became the bank’s head of listed products and prime services. He left the bank in February 2010 and later joined Singapore Exchange as a senior adviser to its commodities trading division, where he was responsible for building relationships with stakeholders and regulators.
