Roger Barton is the non-executive director of the board at ICE Clear Europe, a division of InterContinental Exchange. He joined the company in September 2011 and has previously served as the chairman of the risk committee at LCH.Clearnet.[1][2]

Background

Barton is also the founder and director of the Financial Reform Consultancy in London.[3] He worked for Tradeweb as a managing director responsible for regulatory matters from February 2005 to March 2011, coming from Goldman Sachs as the head of the European Electronic Commerce division. Barton also worked for Goldman Sachs as the co-chief operating officer of the European Futures division from August 1994 to June 1999.

Barton served as a managing director for the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE) from 1986 to 1984, and as a supervising managing consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, now PricewaterhouseCoopers, early in his career.[4]
