Rosalyn (Ros) Wilton is deputy chair of the board of trustees of the University of London.[1] She is currently a non-executive director of LondonMetric Property Plc, where she is chair of audit.[2]

In 2023, Wilton was inducted into the Futures Industry Association's Futures Hall of Fame, which was established in 2005 to commemorate outstanding contributions to the global futures and options community. [3]

Background[edit]

Wilton's distinguished career has spanned four decades. Earlier positions include non-executive director of AXA UK Ltd, where she was chair of risk, and non-executive director of Optos plc, where she was chair of remuneration.[4]

From 1999-2006, Wilton was chief executive of Hemscott Group Ltd, the financial data company that merged with a U.S. firm to form the global financial technology company Ipreo, where she became chairman. Previously, as a director of the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), she was the first woman to serve on the board of any exchange in the UK or Europe. [5]
