Ryan Hansen is president of Tradovate, a technology-centered futures brokerage.

Background[edit]

Hansen joined Tradovate in June of 2014 to help CEO Rick Tomsic develop and launch the firm. Hansen served as vice president of Open E Cry, LLC, which was acquired by GAIN Capital Holdings in 2012 from optionsXpress Holdings, a subsidiary of the Charles Schwab Corporation. Before joining Tradovate, Hansen managed the business operations for Open E Cry as a principal of GAIN Capital Group, LLC.

Earlier, he served for more than seven years at the futures commission merchant PFGBest in several roles, including most recently director of vendor integration. He began his career as a registered representative for Financial Decisions Group in Waterloo, Iowa.[1]

Hansen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Penn State University.
